This trip can be customised to suit your individual requirements and involves a journey through the Kruger Nation Park, up to Guinjata Bay in Mozambique and back home via the beautiful Maputo.
It is an adventure trip filled with relaxed drives up through the park, interesting sights along the way and evenings spent socialising and chatting. The drive up to Guinjata Bay is best done in a 4x4 or diff lock vehicle.
This package is a self drive package but lifts can be arranged, at a cost and depending on space. Accommodation is on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. (You can also opt to fly into Inhambane and get a transfer to Guinjata Bay, call us to find out about this as an option.)
The dives are stunning and divers regularly see Mantas, Whale sharks, Whales and Dolphins. These fantastic sights can also be enjoyed by non-divers, on pre-arranged boat trips. When in season, you can spot whales and dolphins from the breakfast verandah at Guinjata Bay.
It is an awesome must-do experience!
Day 1 – Depart JHB and overnight in our private fully furnished and serviced luxury ten sleeping game lodge with jacuzzi and game drive vehicle, situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, Kruger National Park. This is a half way stop to Guinjata Bay.
Day 2 – Drive to Satara through the Kruger National Park, game viewing along the way. Overnight in Satara.
Day 3 – 7 Drive up to Guinjata Bay and spend four nights, diving, snorkelling and enjoying the pristine beach and surroundings.
Day 7 Depart for Maputo and spend the night at the picturesque Blue Anchor bed B&B.
Day 8 – Depart for home at your leisure or maybe spend another day or more at our game lodge as described on day one at an additional cost.
